A Case of Hodgkin's Diseas of the High Cervical Nodes

Abstract

|
Hodgkin's disease is a lymphoreticular malignancy that usually presents as painless lymphadenopathy. The disease was first described by Thomas Hodgkin(1843). A majority of patients with lymphomas first present with present with lymphadenopathy,
and a
majority of them have cervical lymphadenopathy. The most frequent palpable lymph nodes of the Hodgkin's disease at presentation are the lower cervical and supraclavicular ones. The authors have experienced a case of Hodgkin's disease which
occurred
primarily in the high cervical lymph nodes.
